Guild Announcement: Ch ch ch chaaaaaanges!

Hello Cookies!  

   Change may be uncomfortable to some but it’s also how we grow.  Here we are, just about 8 weeks in from the launch of Shadowlands and roughly about 6 weeks in since Castle Nathria welcomed us into its dark and murdery depths.  Within that time, the Cookies have already come a long way and had some great success.  I am so excited for what we can all achieve and I am confident that we have the right people in place to make things happen! Our goal is to be a Guild that can provide the full experience for someone.  What does that mean you ask, well… it means that if you want to play casually and have a place that’s safe where you can get help when needed, then that’s here.  If you’re here for PVE and progressing through end game content, then here is where you need to be.  If you only want to PVP, we’ve got that too!  If you want to do it all, you may be a Cookie after all.  In order to make sure we have all of that available for you, we need to adjust accordingly when needed.  So without further ado, here is a list of our current adjustments!  🙂     

   But first, some housekeeping.  Please make sure to follow our social media sites for all of the Cookie love!  We’ve got big plans for the year and following those will give you some insider info for things to come, as well as fun stuff from and about this world we all play in!  Check out our discord channel for all of the info or hit up Spongie and he’ll make sure you’ve got what you need.    

Lottery Changes

• A ton of you have asked so here we go… there will no longer be a cap on lottery tickets!  Purchase as many as your little greedy hands desire!  This takes effect immediately, so yes tonight’s drawing is up for grabs!
• You will still have a chance to earn free tickets for participating in guild events though!

New Officers

• Welcome Deepman, Secksityme, and Longdeath to the team!  I’m super excited to see them shine!

Role Leaders

• We now have a complete team for our role leaders and here they are!  Go to them for the specific role you have questions for, and keep an eye on your discord channels for great little tips and tidbits as well!
  • Tank Leader – Longdeath
  • Heals Leaders – Adorbs and Pat
  • Ranged DPS – Deep and Secks
  • Melee DPS – Disk and Secks

New PVP Team

• Gid and Deep have been working hard and getting PVP organized and making sure Cookies are earning honor to get gear as well as completing weekly PVP quests!  Because of that we now have enough people to have a dedicated PVP team that will be working on elevating our personal ratings!
• Don’t worry though, if all you want is enough PVP to do your weeklies there will still be events for that as well.
• The *new* Rated PVP Team will be on Thursday nights and if you would like to be part of the team, talk to Gid and Deep about what’s needed!
• All expectations will be pinned in the PVP channel in Discord as well as here on the website under the About Us section.

New Raid Day Added

• We posted a survey, a bunch of you took it… there was a tie… so we had to do it again.  
• But we finally got a majority… and the winner is… Saturdays from 8-11pm server time!

New Raid Expectations  

• We are really starting to find our groove now and last nights raid proved it.  I can’t wait to see our progression once we add a 3rd day to the week!  Part of the recipe for success in raiding is to have a raid team that are all there for the same reason and all on the same page.  With that said we’ve made some changes to expectations to ensure we stay on the path to success. 
• The minimum ilevel has been changed, as well as some additional rules to keep us all on track.  Everyone in the raid is dedicating time and energy to making sure their toon is properly equipped for the battle ahead, but also committing real life time to these raids and we want to respect that.  Compared to many guilds out there, the Cookies are pretty relaxed when it comes to raid expectations, and we want to keep it fun… but with that said, we also want to win.  These new expectations will be how we accomplish those goals.    
• All expectations will be pinned in the Raid Info channel in Discord as well as here on the website under the About Us section.
